We brewed up the Pumpkin Porter this afternoon.

Malts & Fermentables

  • 3.5 lbs light DME
  • 3 lbs amber DME
  • 1 lb Dark DME
  • 2.5 lbs Pumpkin
  • 1 lb Black Patent Malt
  • 1.5 lb pale 6-Row Malt

Hops

  • 1 oz Hallertau (60)
  • 1 oz Cascade (20)
  • 1 oz Hallertau (10)

Spice

  • 1 tsp Allspice
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 2 tsp Irish Moss

Yeast

  • Wyeast 1338 European Ale

Starting Gravity: 1.078

Target ABV: 8%
